Satyan Mishra
Co-Founder and Kamaan member
He is an Ashoka Fellow who has been the flag-bearer of making path-breaking changes and decisions within Drishtee. Satyan holds an MBA in International Business from University of Delhi’s, Delhi School of Economics. He has led Drishtee with a visionary approach and inspiring working style. Satyan’s passion that reflects in Drishtee, has motivated like-minded people to come together and form an intellectual horsepower driving it forward.
Shailesh Thakur
Co-Founder and Kamaan member
Co-Founder of Drishtee and graduate from Delhi University, Shailesh is using his life experience of rural background as well as professional exposure for scouting for new opportunities and challenges for Drishtee. His role is to ensure that any new and exciting idea which moves out of the drawing board is thoroughly tested on the field before it is implemented/scaled.
Nitin Gachhayat
Co-Founder and Kamaan member
Co-founder and a strategic thinker, Nitin is leading the journey of Drishtee from the front. He has been mainly involved with the functional teams responsible for developing new services and models that can help achieve the vision of Sustainable Communities. Nitin is an MBA from FORE School of Management, Delhi and is richly experienced. His leading style is a great force behind the achievements of the team Drishtee, enabling them to meet the challenges.
TEAM
Drishtee has been fortunate to attract several professionals who have forsaken their corporate sector jobs to work in the Rural sector. At the same time, Drishtee also has in the team, passionate young people mostly drawn from the local small towns and villages, having deep understanding of the local needs. These teammates are effectively making an impact at the field positions. In all this, Drishtee gets valuable support from Volunteers from across the world who spend their time and energy mostly on a voluntary basis.
Mamta Mishra has an entrepreneurial mind and a social worker’s heart. She is the co-founder of Drishtee Foundation and works as an Executive Head of the organisation. She and her entrepreneurial team at Drishtee have helped develop a path breaking platform for helping communities become self sustainable. With her immense energy and sensitivity, she has been instrumental in initiating various new activities for Drishtee such as computer education for rural youth, capital support to small entrepreneurs and textile based rural production and marketing.
Mamta holds a Bachelors degree in Hindi and has devoted her life in the areas of social entrepreneurship, rural development, livelihood, and women empowerment. She is instrumental in creating enabling environment to work. She has always put in best of efforts to make her teams work with highest efficiencies. With her huge experience of 70 plus years in life and 30 plus years in social enterprise segment, she has been inspiring generations in and beyond Drishtee to drive a change that can pave the way forward towards the vision of a world where all communities are empowered to achieve shared prosperity.
Swapna along with the Founders has been an integral part of all the new idea development, innovation, planning and implementation in the last 20 plus years of Drishtee’s journey. She is a Science Post Graduate with qualifications in Business Communication.
She is passionate about enabling and empowering communities for a change that can drive a paradigm shift in livelihood and empowerment approaches. She has been instrumental in structuring various programs that are now being implemented to enable self-sufficiency and self-reliance through community leadership. Her focus areas, as a core team member, have been community building, enterprise and innovation, women empowerment and capacity building.
He has more than 20 years of experience in the development sector. He has been involved in taking up challenges of pioneering new initiatives especially at the piloting and initial implementation level. His initial efforts were in the ICT kiosk model delivering e-governance services and the Rural Distribution system of Drishtee. He is a science graduate from Bhopal.
He has more than 20 years of experience. Before Drishtee he worked with International Development enterprises (IDE) and Tea sector. He holds a B.Tech in Agriculture Engineering from NERIST and has completed a Certificate course from COADY International Institute under St. Francis Xavier University, Canada along with MDP certificates from XLRI, Jamshedpur. He looks after the whole operations of the North east region.

Tarun Arya, an Electronics graduate with an MCA, has been associated with Drishtee for over 25 years, contributing to rural development in India. Starting his career as a Software Engineer with Raymonds Ltd. and later Drishtee Software Team, he dedicated himself to serving Rural India. With expertise in project management, operations, and business planning, he has implemented key initiatives in skill development, rural BPO, microfinance, financial inclusion, e-governance, rural supply chain, and IT-based solutions.
Partha has more than 22 years of experience in the development sector. He started his journey with financial environments. He specializes in financial accounting, projections for CSR projects, financial budgeting, field operations for customer service point banking, education & insurance product marketing. He expanded the network in Rural, Urban & Metro areas for financial & education services with the kiosk network in different states of India. He has a strong grasp on data mining, data science & ERP development.
She is a seasoned HR professional with a Master’s from Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management and over 14 years of experience across the employee life cycle.She brings expertise in talent development, employee welfare, performance management, and people engagement.Her work reflects a passion for building a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals thrive. Known for her integrity and people-first approach, she balances organizational goals with employee well-being.
Sheta Sarkar is a dynamic leader with over 22 years of professional experience, including 7 years with Drishtee Foundation. A graduate of Delhi University with a degree in Business Management from Annamalai University, she has consistently demonstrated the ability to achieve targets and manage multiple responsibilities effectively. At Drishtee, she oversees a wide range of operations with dedication and excellence. Known for her approachable and social nature, Sheta fosters strong relationships within the organization and the communities she serves.
An Engineer graduate from Bombay Technical University, with 3 years technical experience in Customer Relationship Management. Preeti joined Drishtee in 2006 with key skills such as Project management, Business Development, Capacity Building Planning and Monitoring. She has harnessed these skills at Drishtee and has developed a unique structured approach to troubleshoot micro business process issues with a 360 degree approach. Positivity and happiness are her assets which give her an enviable value to excel in her work.
Kingshuk Nag is a seasoned and highly ethical professional, with 17+ years of extensive Project Management & Business Operations experience across varied industries including Social Enterprise, Financial Inclusion, Immigration, Real Estate, Healthcare, and CSR Project Management. He has expertise in enabling design, development, and executing strategic plans to lead organizational objective, financial growth, and long-term sustainability. He is currently responsible for leading the Governance Function at Drishtee. He is a Post Graduate in Rural Management from FMS-IRM, Jaipur and is also a Certified Lean Practitioner.
Reshma, an accomplished professional with 20 years of experience in rural development, capacity building, and community engagement, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and has dedicated her career to empowering rural communities across India through grassroots communication, leadership development, and collective action.Her journey has enabled her to design leadership development programs, facilitation processes, and training tools that strengthen community connections and nurture local leaders and volunteers to drive sustainable change. Guided by her deep belief in the power of collectives, she currently contributes to Drishtee’s global platform – Ekyam, which connects collectives worldwide to share, care and collaborate on local and global challenges, fostering belongingness and a vision of one world family.
