WHEREAS:-
Mitra Role and Responsibilities
The Mitra shall during the term of this engagement:
- Identifies the women who have the need for livelihood and registers them on the App (MIRI Haat App)
- Motivates and enables the women and their families for starting their journey towards Self-reliance (Swavlamban)
- Spreads and demonstrates the message of “Shared Prosperity & Shared Happiness through Trust & Self-Belief
- “साझा संकल्प से: साझी समृद्धि “
- Support to identify a local entrepreneur (Vaani) for setting up a Skill Development Centre for training registered women into various production skills – related to Roti (Food), Kapda (Textile) and Makaan (Home)
- Enables other skills development programs through the Facilitation support of Drishtee and its partners, in Agriculture and Housing based products.
- Identifies and supports the women groups to partner with each other and form Vaibhavi / MEGs (Micro Enterprise Groups) based microenterprises. These Vaibhavi enterprises are focused on production of packaged and value-added products for the Rural / Urban Household Market and Retail market – as per the capacity and demand.
- Enables and supports Vaibhavi groups to map and connect with relevant producers for the aggregation of their produce and then further packaging it for the identified market within / outside village (Urban HHs) through a Customer based MIRI (Making In Rural India) App
- For registration (listing) of local products and sale of products to the local producer community (also across locations)
- Example: Household products, Agri based products, Agri-inputs, Textile material and Apparels, any other relevant products as listed by local rural women producers (Udyogis)
- Product Registration- Identifies and Production capacity of registered women (Udyogis) and registers the products (listing) on the app for rural and semi-urban market connect
- Identifies Dhavak – a Supply Chain / Delivery Executive – A youth from Village with a two-wheeler is identified and engaged to enable Supply to the Urban areas or in other villages as per the need
- Packaging Support – Support the local women producers for packaging and serves as a sale/purchase or aggregation point for the Supply chain.
- The Mitra would maintain a relationship with each household s/he has linked up through “Making In Rural India” concept promoted by Drishtee. He/ She would sign up the customer family, do a Pre- Assessment of requirements and preferences, show the catalogue and demo products and book the orders/ barter product through designated MIRI App.
- The Mitra will promote MIRI concept and the producers’ connected business offerings in assigned cluster and ensure brand visibility.
- Continuity of sales & growth with promotion of new product range and value to consumers. Mitra will be offered incentives to carry out sales and promotional activities with defined commission structure. – Please refer the Annexure for the detailed commission plan.
Infrastructure, material and working:
- Mitra will be supported with the Branding and promotion material based on events and promotional activities planned – material will include the Poster & Banners.
- Mitra will need to create the dedicated store for initiating the produce exchange and promoting the barter transaction within the village which will be promoted as Barter Shop.
Barter Shop – Dedicated place to carryout Barter transactions
- Mitra will setup a Barter Shop will all the Brandings provided by Drishtee and facilitate the un-matched transactions (transactions which could not happen because of the unavailability of the Product / Service by any Producers.
- Mitra will carry out all the Barter transactions from the Barter Shop.
- Mitra will identify the most Common Need products which is not available with any Producer and limiting the Barter transactions.
- Mitra will purchase and maintain the Inventory of the most common Need products with the help of Drishtee.
- The most common need products can be either purchased from any Vaibhavi / Producer in the same / other village or from Drishtee.
- The Products can be purchased in Livelihood Points (LP)
- This Barter Shop will have the Branding as the shop is only for Barter and no cash transaction will be made from the Barter shop.
- All the Barters transactions being carried out from the Barter shop must be entered in the MIRI Haat (Barter) App.
- Livelihood Points (LP) is being used acting as deal equalizer to facilitate the Barter Transactions.
- All the Products Bartered / being offered from the Barter Shop to Barter will have the Livelihood Points (LP) defined to facilitate the Barter transactions.
Livelihood Points:
LP = (A + (B X C)) X (100 + D) %
B = Time spent on producing the good/service
C = Skill level of labor deployed in the process
D = profit margin the producer wishes over his produce
Drishtee’s Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide guidelines pertaining to Services, for its smooth/seamless conduct.
- Drishtee Supply chain would ensure the delivery of the orders as per the stipulated dates and timelines with a delivery confirmation to the customer.
- There would be a follow-up, feedback, complaints resolution and relationship management support given to the customers to support the connect and relationship development being done by Mitras, through Drishtee’s MIRI Call Center and marketing team.
- The schemes/support to market development and incentive/commission slab will be variable and of short time periods.
- Drishtee will help Mitra in defining the Livelihood of all the Products / Service being offered for Barter.
Trademarks, Know-How, and Advertising:
- The Mitra shall take such reasonable action as Drishtee may direct, to assist Drishtee in the protection of the Drishtee name, trademarks, and reputation. The Mitra shall not do anything that may bring Drishtee into disrepute or may have a detrimental effect on Drishtee.
- The Mitra shall immediately notify Drishtee of any possible infringement of the Trademark of which he becomes aware and assist Drishtee in any action it may take under any law for the time being in force.
- The Mitra shall participate in and comply with the terms of any special advertising or public relations campaign or activity as Drishtee may reasonably require.
Records:
Where required by Drishtee, the Mitra shall provide Drishtee with such records of customers, operating history, accounting, financial and other administrative information relating to the performance of the Mitra as Drishtee may reasonably require.
Termination:
(a) If the Mitra has or may have a detrimental effect on the reputation of Drishtee; or
(b) If the business of Mitra with Drishtee becomes financially unviable in the opinion of Drishtee.
